Gaffney School website. Rose M. Gaffney is a PK-8 school located in beautiful Downeast Maine. We currently have approximately 350 students who partake in a comprehensive and rigorous curriculum. Rose M. Gaffney provides a curriculum that combines the latest in educational technology and research with successful traditional practices. We provide a varied program that offers a broad spectrum of approaches to meet the needs of our student body encompassing a wide range of learning styles, interests, and academic needs. RMG also offers a few notable programs that are designed to inspire our children toward academic achievement and begin career and higher education goal setting. One of these worthwhile programs is JMG. Our “Ventures” gifted and talented program enhances an already thriving enrichment program that allows our students the opportunity to be exposed to many educational assemblies and programs. We also offer “EDGE”, an excellent after school program for students in grades K-8. All students have the opportunity to work with state of the art technology and educational software. We have one to one computing in grades 2-8. RMG students have a variety of Extra-Curricular opportunities to enhance their education. Students have an opportunity to participate in Volleyball, Soccer, Cross Country, Basketball, Cheerleading, Baseball, Softball, Destination Imagination, Robotics, and the Gaffney Gazette to name a few. Our motto is RMGES: Reaching Our Goals Equals Success. Our school mascott is the “Bulldog”, and our school colors are “Orange and Black”. Go Bulldogs!!!!!
